ALCS: Piazza Cremes Cleveland

Forgive the ALCS only chatter for a moment, but I must tip my cap to Bobby Piazza and the Cremes.
Piazza for the uninitiated is the 25 y.o. phenom starting pitcher for Min.
The Cy Young went to Tomlin from the Cyanide, mainly due to 6 more victories (23 to 17) vs. Piazza (I know there were other deserving candidates too).
In the regular season, the ERA and WHIP between Tomlin and Piazza were nearly identical.
Enter the ALCS, Tomlin v. Piazza
Piazza took the first game in a duel, 2-1, and shutout Cleveland in a blowout in the clincher. In 17 innings, 0.53 WHIP and 0.53 ERA against a pretty good Cleveland lineup.
Youth will be served, Tomlin OS 31 and Piazza OS 25 will be at different stages of their careers in the next few years with Piazza having an opportunity to get even better.
Good luck in the WS to Minnesota and whomever they meet from the NLCS.
