Enjoy sports officiating at the high school, College and semipro levels.....played high school, college and semipro baseball and worked in MLB for a period of time.... enjoy SD a great deal and have played in virtually every type of format that tyson has!!!....won't say I'm that good but enjoy the heck out of it!!!

as commish I want to formally welcome everyone to the Phil Niekro League........I hope that everyone has an enjoyable experience as an owner in the league.......I thought it might be nice and I know that it would be helpful to me as commish to have everyone give a brief bio on themselves.... it would be great to know more about each of you and would be very helpful in knowing what the experience levels are like in the league........that being said I will start.........you do not have to put down any information that you wish to keep private.......and may add anything you wish the group of league owners to know that I have not......Name: Rich Prince

My name is Rob, I've been playing SimD for almost 3 years. I've been in 8 WS and have won 4. I currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama, but am moving home to Seattle sometime this year. (My wife is from New Prague, Minn Horseradish!). I'm a very active owner, and am always looking to move players. Hope all have a great time! Rob

My closest esperience to what we are doing was working for three years as a Scout for the SF Giants in the Mid Atlantic Region.
Enjoy the game--don't always enjoys some of the rhetoric, but am trying.

Personally am in Columbus, Ohio - but born near LA. Am in IT (computers). Nothing exciting. My brother was in the marines so Semper Fidelis usmc1!
Have not really kept track of all my leagues, but have in HAL. In 104 seasons, had 82 winning seasons, 54 playoff appearences, and 20 WS wins (out of 28).

Hi - played Sim pretty much since start - am charter member of Hank Aaron League (great group - still have 4-5 of the originial owners and are in 2055, 105 seasons), one of the oldest private leagues. been in multiple other leagues but scaled it back to HAL recently. I'm Dan, the owner of the Chicago AL franchise . I'm 35 and the owner of a small business.I've played Sim for about a year and have won 7 titles. I'm really looking forward to this leage as this is the my first time owning a team at the beginning of a league and my first exposure to variable development, which should be fun.

I have been in a few leagues with Horseradish, and know him as a great guy, so we have a great commish! I have played SimD for about 3 years at this point. I like to throw lots of trades out, and love getting trade offers.
Hopefully this will be a fun league. Feel free to choose my team as your arch-enemy. Always fun to have rivalries......

I am Bob (Petitecheval), owner of the Pittsburgh Miners. I live in Greenwich CT, about an hour from New York City. After 22 years in Finance, I have had a career change recently and am now in the wine industry. I play hockey and consider myself a lousy golfer.I have been in a few leagues with Horseradish, and know him as a great guy, so we have a great commish! Hello, I am Bob and own the St Louis Rivermen. From the St Louis area, Illinois side. Currently am retired from Insurance business and live in Daytona Beach, FL and work part time. Playing now for about a year and a half. I have 8 teams so I spend a lot of time on this. Excited about this new league. 2 of my teams have variable development, this being my 3rd. I prefer this set up. Good luck to all.

Hey everybody, I'm Paul and I own the Detroit franchise. I grew up in Warren Michigan which is right outside of Detroit. I'm a school teacher, coach, and huge baseball fan. As for my SD experience, it is limited. Based on the other posts I would say that I am the least experienced with the game. However, that is not to say I'm intimidated! Bring it boys, I'll learn. Guys, I am Ron and I live in Akron OH. I work for the government of the United States, and I love sports. I am a fan of the Cleveland teams, and the NY Rangers in the NHL. I have played SD for just over a year and typically am in 4 leagues. I have had the fortune of 19 WS appearances and 14 titles. This is my first System 3 league and also my first 1950 league, but I have experience in variable development in the Babe Ruth. Looking forward to some awesome competition in this league, and it looks as if I will set a really high loss record this season......;)
