And in poetic form, trailing 4-3 going into the bottom of the 9th the Bombers budding star, only player under age 30 in our starting lineup, capped off a season in which he was an all star, batted .303, and won a gold glove, by also hitting a 3 run home run to walk off with the Bombers 8th world championship!
An amazing game, an amazing season, an amazing championship, by some truly amazing players. Just wanna say before ABE claims them in retirement this season (yes I know they are imaginary players in a pretend game) but that's guys for the great memories. Players like OSqueal, Tuchamal, Williams, Cheater, Pagliaruler, and Tostada in games like today is what makes this league worth every penny!!!!

Game 7 of the World Series Bombers are down 4-0 in the bottom of the 8th, if what was his last at at as a Bad News Bomber, 38 year old and soon to be Hall of Fame hits a pinch hit 3 run home run to bring the score to 4-3. Paul OSqueal had a disappointing season, falling just a couple dozen hits shy of 3000 hits for his career. But after being put on the bench this ultimate team player, leader, and hero kept encouraging his team and proved once again his legendary status. OSqueal in the final game of the regular season went 5-5 inching closer to the milestone even though very far away. And in theWorld Series OSqueal had 2 plate appearance, both pinch hit home runs.
