And to be fair that number is totally skewed, I didn't take control of TB till after free agency. I mean there is no way I should have 55 wins combined.

I, on the other hand, have a Detroit team that leads the league in average, slugging %, OPS, WHIP and ERA but is still 12 games behind Cleveland.

(I think the Detroit team has some pitchers that are better, and better health in the lineup maybe. I think they beat up on the bad teams worse than Cleveland does, runs wise. but a win is a win, whether its 3-1 or 15-1. I guess. something like that has to be happening.)

His the "toss 50 one year contracts" every year policy that he employs is, however, the embodiment of what is wrong with the salary league concept, a concept I had high hopes for that is just another unfinished project in the sim.
