I'm very happy to be able to join your league. This will be my first multi-season team. I am looking forward to developing this team into a contender. Always willing to talk trades. I am a BIG baseball history NUT! If anyone has any friendly advice on running a team, I'll gladly listen, although I expect the A.L. owners a bit more forthcoming in this area.;)
Any chance of changing my nickname?

Welcome to the league. You actually have the beginnings of a very decent team. Good pitching staff. I think you can change a team's nickname in between seasons. You'll get no resistance from any of the owners if you want to do it then.
