If anyone has suggestions on the playoff schedule, let us know. We weren't quite sure how people would want this.

My only issue with the playoff schedule is that the WS ends at 4:09 AM and the off-season runs at 5:09 (both when most of us will be sleeping). The concern is that one might discover that they won/lost the WS based on the banner that is placed on their homepage when the off-season runs, before they have a chance to actually watch the final games.

I suggest one of two options if possible:
1) delay the off-season until 12 hours after the last WS game (4:00 PM) to give owners time to watch the games
2) Move the playoff games earlier in the day so that they are over before 11:00 PM (i.e. start them at noon instead of 5:00) and then keep the off-season time of 5:09.

In the Moonlight Graham League (another evening league), we moved the off-season back a day, but if Sim D can accommodate one of the above, I think that would be preferred.

Thoughts from other owners?
-Ted.

Either way is good for me. When is the initial draft?

Ted - why don't you guys set up a league vote on this next week and let us know the results. We have about 4 weeks before the playoffs start. Or maybe we run the first one like this and adjust after that?

I will bump the OffSeason to 1:09AM. So here's how I *think* the league turn over from season to season should look:

Day 1: WS starts at 5:09PM
Day 2: WS ends at 4:09AM
Day 3: OffSeason runs at 1:09AM, Draft runs at 9:09PM
Day 4: New season starts at 6:09PM

Note:

Day 1: WS starts at 5:09PM
Day 2: WS ends at 4:09AM
Day 3: OffSeason runs at 1:09AM, Draft runs at 9:09PM
Day 4: New season starts at 6:09PM

Since this league is run opposite times from most leages is there any way we can do that for the offseason as well? It looks like Ted suggested this as option 1 in his post, and we wouldn't be using up an extra day to run the offseason and draft, it could go like this:

-the WS runs and ends at 4AM,
-the offseason runs at 5PM or 6PM later that day
-the draft runs at 9 or 10PM that night

We would then be set to start the next day like most speed leagues are currently set. Just a thought, although I have no idea if the offseasons have to run overnight or early in the AM.

The Offseasons can't run during the day. They take too many system resources to do that. Sorry. They have to run between 1AM and 6AM.
