Eligible Hall of Fame Nominations for 1965 are as follows:

2. [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=3758683]Kevin Carver[/url] Catcher, Chicago Wiseguys 1950-7 Baltimore 1957-1966
Craver was a 7-time All Star Catcher and he retires in the Top 20 in HR (19th all time), Hits (20th all time) and RBI (16th all time). He led Baltimore's return to the top of the AL in the early 1960s after being acquired from Chicago in 1957. Craver helped lead Baltimore to 5 ALCS and 4 WS appearances (posting a .282 BA/.382 OBP/.804 OPS in 40 playoff games). Sadly, Craver retires without a WS ring.

Career stats: .290 BA, .835 OPS, 2222 Hits, 321 HR, 1247 RBI, also threw out 45.5% of base stealers

.309/.378/.531; 478 HRs (7th); 2830 Hits (4th); 11th RBIs; 3rd in Runs; 10th in OPS. Nine playoffs; six pennants and 4 rings.

[url=http://simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=3758645]Blackie Kustus[/url] 2ND Base, Right Field, Chicago South Siders 1950-1957, Milwaukee Mumbo Jumbos 1958 and Pittsburgh Writers 1958-1965 .308/.376/.542; 519 HRs (2nd); 2803 Hits (7th); 4th RBIs; 5th Runs; 8th in OPS. Seven playoffs; six pennants and 4 rings.

Kevin Craver-C, .290 Career BA, good power, great defense YES!

Gary Snyder-3B, Wow! YES!

Blackie Kustus-RF/1B, once again... Wow! YES!

I'll concede that Craver is borderline - if he was any other position but catcher he would definitely be on the outside looking in.

A 10x all star is automatic for me.
500 HR gets anybody but Eddie Murray into the Hall.

Colonel Tageda is inducted with 9 of 10 votes.
Gary Snyder is inducted with 9 of 10 votes.
Blackie Kustus is inducted with 10 of 10 votes.

Kevin Carver is not inducted with 6 of 10 votes.
