As long as I'm sharing...

Here's another informative site:

[url]http://www.cracksmoker.com/[/url]

Cracksmoker (kraksmoker) n. 1. A professional or collegiate athlete who exhibits
behavior not fit for society. ââ?¬â??v. cracksmoked, -adj. cracksmoking

Cracksmoker Criteria:

$ Must be a professional or collegiate athlete
$ Must have been in the news for something noteworthy other than an athletic accomplishment
$ Have a tendency to put themselves ahead of their team
$ Often demand more money or playing time than they deserve
$ Consistently in the wrong place at the wrong time and often claim to be a victim of circumstance
$ Regularly participate in excessive celebrations and taunting of other players
$ Probably have referred to themselves in the third person at one time or another
$ May have one or more illegitimate children
$ Actions are generally not premeditated

Proving that the NFL is the cracksmokiest of all, try this one on: On the left of the screen, click on NHL. View the list of names. Then click on MLB and NBA...notice the length of the list. Then click on NFL...see what I'm saying?

You can always count on the NFL, can't you?

The NFL was 45 players per team while the NBA has 15 and MLB has 25, so you'd expect more football players there.

I'd expect the NBA to run away with the per capita list.

thats pretty funny, but some of those people dont meet all of the criteria. if u go to mlb and read about tim hudson, it has the fight in the bar in boston he was involved in, but if u read the details it is hard to blame him. im sure many of us would have done the same thing. there are some really weird things that im not even gonna talk about in there.

the cracksmokers almost always fit into one of these categories:

practically everyone in the NBA

Steiroid popping Baseball players

really dumb reason why tejada is on the list. They just put people on the list if they ever get in the newspaper for something other than sports.

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
yea some of them are just in there cuz they were in the news for something other than sports.

OH MY GOD!!!! YOU ARE RIGHT!!!

maybe you have to have done something WHILE you are playing to be put on the list, then it just adds more stuff for people already on the list.

Could be. That would make sense, anyway. I can't believe they just forgot OJ.

yeah, gotta say that is horrible. Hey duff, are you going to introduce yourself on the intro thread?

I haven't decided. I'm not really keen on handing out gobs of information about myself. I just don't see the purpose. Funny, I never much cared for that sort of thing in school, either. I feel like you do that, you brand yourself... I perfer to be known through my interactions with others.

Or I could be chicken. :P

I like it, short and simple. although you have Angelos more than steinbrenner?
Duff77

March 09, 2004 at 07:24AM View BBCode

Yes. I hold nothing against Stienbrenner. He takes advantage of an unfair system. It's the system I hate--not him. Angelos is just a cheesehead, pure and simple.

wait... cheeseheads are cool.

There is no way that Angelos is a worse owner than Major League Baseball. I wouldn't put him 28th either, but maybe someone caould argue that he goes there.

last: MLB
second to last: Loria
third to last: Tigers Owner

Most annoying for me personally: Peter Angelos.

I think Steinbrenner is more annoying, and Angelos is second.
