As i begin my second season as the owner of the Detroit Team, i can only wonder if and when the team will get better. So enjoy kicking my butt now but one day the tables will turn. :saint: :mad:Ernest

In these slower leagues it can take a long time to improve, and sometimes it's a relative thing--in the American League there are presently five teams that pretty much rock and roll, and I'm not even counting mine. It would be easy to try hard and still lose 110 games in this league this year.

I lost 107 games last season and i really thought that we would at least be able to complete. The season is still young but looking at the scores of a few of the games that we have lost it does not look pretty. But i guess this is part of the challenge of turning a team around. Hey, I went to the post-season last year, despite the fact that Washington gave me an ungreased man- censored in one game 21-2. Look to the stars, for they will come closer every year.

AHHH, the always unpleasant ungreased man- censored . Got a few of those myself last season. Mostly thanks to the 'Bears.

And I have to say, as the guy with 21 runs in the game mentioned by my perpetually playoff bound colleague, I wish I could have spread it out into 19 one run victories, grease or no grease.

same here, I derived no pleasure from games like that. I would have been happy with 19 1run games or 9 or 10 2run games, I am no fan of the blow out.Pages: 1
