Abandoned registration

I created a user called abandonme, and then bailed out of the process before selecting a team, so I could test if the system would recover properly. (It did; when I logged back in, it gave me an appropriate error message and directed me to Sign In, where I was prompted again to select a team.) Will the system delete this user after a period of time, or will this unused user just clutter up the database?

I don't delete any users from the database at this time. If I start to experience performance issues, I may start a policy of delete or backing up inactive users. But from my perspective, its nice to have a record of all users, active or inactive.
That way when Sportsline calls to buy me out, I can say I have more users ;)
