This is a fun board topic - I'll get Ham to sticky it at the top.

Today, in game two of the 1950 SAL ALCS, catcher David Gehring hit for the cycle, including a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the ninth to give the Delay their second consecutive walk-off win. See it here!

Since this is a sticky spot, I'll link the previous post from early July.

Here is the league's first perfect game: Rich Ebert vs Washington Swineherd

Talk about bad pitching: MIL (10) and STL (16) combined to issue 26 walks.

Polish national, Artur Benedykt, tired of being upstaged by other pitchers in the league, no-hit the Seattle Bad Gnus on the cold rainy spring afternoon of April 8, 1957.

This is the second recorded league no-hitter in this thread, the first accomplished by Rich Ebert, another Dragon still on staff, and posted four messages above this one.

Sam Jethroe hit for the cycle and scored four times in an 18-1 win over Arizona.

Spike Barr is on an absolute roll of late.
Nevermind that he is currently 16-2 with a 1.89 ERA and 0.93 WHIP.
Check out his game log...

*4 straight shutouts!
*5 straight games without an earned run allowed
*40 straight scoreless innings
*52 straight innings without an earned run allowed

And the streak ends his next outing. He went 8 2/3 shutout innings, then gave up a 3 run homerun to take the loss.
48 2/3 scoreless innings in the end.
60 2/3 innings without an earned run allowed.
Not too shabby.

Woody Clontz responded to his recent benching by racking up 15 total bases (3 HR, 1 3B) in a 6-5 win today. Because the four guys batting in front of Clontz went a combined 0-for-19, he only had 3 RBI.

KC Coyotes pitcher Walt Harper throws a no-hitter.

boxscore

Only a 4th inning Jose Bautista error stood between Harper and a perfect game.

Milwaukee racked up a 23-1 mark against Los Angeles in 1958, the only blemish an extra inning loss. Unfortunately, success did not come as easily against the top three teams.

Congrats on the no-hitter, Mr_N. Let's keep our comments to a minimal and in the spirit of celebration rather than correction in this thread. I had to delete 1/3 of the posts in the thread because a few of you took to bickering instead of congratulating. Thanks.
