Defensive stats

I don't even know if this is possible, because I don't know how complicated or sophisticated the defensive coding is. But it would be nice to have some idea of how many assists/putouts/double plays a player has. Right now we can see errors, but have no idea as to the range of the player. For instance, does my shortstop make a ton of errors but reach everything on the left side of the infield - or does he just stink and kick the few balls hit within one step range.
Although it would be interesting to include this in the play-by-play, it would be helpful even if just the stats for the season were accumulated and stored somewhere.
And by the way, great job on this game. I'm already hooked. :D

Its difficult to add this in, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't ever be done. I put it on the enhancement list, but I don't expect to get to it anytime soon.
You know, I'm starting to get hooked too! I'm spending a bit too much time looking over my team and tweaking the lineup.
