I am gonna put who i think will win the award and why a 2nd place person could get it.
AL MVP: Josh Hamilton is the MVP because he was a great hitter and A BIG PART of leading the Rangers to the playoffs, but Miguel Cabrera had an AMAZING SEASON.
NL MVP: Joey Votto is the MVP because 1st in OBP, 3rd in HRS, 3rd in RBI's and 2nd in average and more importantly led his team to the playoffs, even though Albert Pujols has more HR's and RBI's
AL CY Young: Felix Hernandez because he has the best ERA, 2nd best WHIP, 2nd in SO, with 30 QS most in the majors, and he does that pitching the most innings in the majors and the worst offensive team in the last couple of years even though CC Sabathia has 8 more wins than him
NL CY Young: Roy Halladay, survives Ubaldo Jimenez's amazing first half
AL ROY: Netfali Feliz, no really else maybe Austin Jackson
NL ROY: Buster Posey, but Heyward is damn close as he was important for the Braves to make the playoffs, had more RBI's, and had a better OBP
AL Comeback Player of the Year: Francisco Liriano and Josh Hamilton
NL Comback Player of the Year: Tim Hudson and Billy Wagner
AL Relief Pitchers of the Year: Rafael Soriano and Joakim Soria
NL Relief Pitchers of the Year: Brian Wilson and Heath Bell
AL Silver Slugger Award: Jose Bautista
NL Silver Slugger Award: Albert Pujols
Anybody have different ideas and picks?

ABE says that the winner in AL should have been CC he scored 188.46 on the formula we use for Cy Young and that Jon Lester was second at 155.30 Hernandez is third with 150.04 pts. 12 losses killed his score. Halladay was the run away winner in the NL with 211.51 Wainwright at 183.71 and Jimenez at 169.98

Rob Neyer may need to update the Cy Young formula, it looks like the voters are actually not as concerned with Wins as they once were.

WHIP and ERA seem to be the key for fantasy guys anymore.

Its pretty lame that a guy with a one game over .500 winning record wins the Cy Young.
WHIP and ERA please.

Paraphrasing from a Posnanski article this year... if Wins didn't already exist as a statistic and you tried to implement it now, it would never take off as a mainstream statistic. People would look at the rules for determining Wins, their eyes would gloss over, and they'd say this is dumb.
Here's what he says about Wins in a column from today:

wins would be a quite awesome statistic for a pitcher, if a pitcher could, in fact, win a game. but a pitcher cannot, in fact, do that. so wins suck out loud as a statistic for a pitcher.
