Hmmmm.....look at all those options. Hard decision...May 14, 2004 at 03:35AM View BBCode
Yeah. Not much of a Spurs fan, either. But Derek Fisher? I grew up with the Blazers (you know, the good ones: Drexler, Porter, Kersey, Buck Williams, Kevin Duckworth, Danny Ainge...) and have learned to detest the Lakers. .4 seconds? Can you catch a pass and make a shot in .4 seconds? If you watch the reply, I think the clock keeper flubbed a bit, even if they were in San Antonio. Sour grapes, I know.May 14, 2004 at 04:34AM View BBCode
I can't stand Derek Fisher, in my eyes he is the Derek Jeter of basketball. He got lucky and went to a good team and now he and others think he is a lot better than he really is. Who would care about Fisher if he was on the Hawks or the Warriors just like what would Jeter be if the Brewers or the Pirates would have drafted him. They both make me sick..:mad:May 14, 2004 at 05:18PM View BBCode
4 HOFs on your team and you pass it to the guy who ISNT the HOFer???May 14, 2004 at 05:20PM View BBCode
derek fisher used to be way overrated, and now most people realize that he is a mediocre player on a very good team.May 14, 2004 at 05:37PM View BBCode
ME, why did you want the LALAKAZ to win? LALAKAZ are on a streak, and are gonna beat the T wolves, and i will get burger king.May 14, 2004 at 05:46PM View BBCode
umm... i say go Nets and Lakers and spurs if they beat the lakers. that is who i got left.May 14, 2004 at 07:26PM View BBCode
I hate the Lakers. I hate any team that beats the Nets in the finals but I hate the Lakers more. The Spurs are a team that is harder to hate because they keep their mouths shut and just execute the fundamentals. In LA they run their mouths, whine about not getting the ball, argue about "who's team in its" (It's not Kobe's or Shaq's. It's Dr. Bust's, but nobody realizes that.), and they just piss me off. The will probably win the series now because of that game but they shouldnt. The clock definitely didnt start when fisher caught that ball. Duncan's shot was amazing. He had more time to set than Fisher did but atleast his counted. Fisher's shouldnt have counted and he knows it. He said he ran off the court so fast because he wanted to get out of there before they overturned it. Now San Antonio is appealing which makes them look bad but they should because they got screwed.May 14, 2004 at 08:53PM View BBCode
I have always thought Fisher was a poor point guard. Not a big fan of him. He is a poor player on a good team. Not much of a Laker fan either. I love the NBA. Before this season I was the one and only Cavaliers fan. I love the Nets forwards. We need them on the Cavs.May 14, 2004 at 10:40PM View BBCode
Okay lets put it this way.. I broke the remote into many pieces, almost broke my hand, and wrote on the back of my car "fu** Derek Fisher". I hate Lakers fans more than any group of people on earth, except maybe the KKK and Al Qaeda. 99 % of them are bandwagoners who will love the Clippers if they are good next year. I hate Kobe because he is an idiot for cheating on his wife, because she is fine, even if he didn't rape that girl. I hate Shaq because is an idiot and is a wuss. I hate Phil Jackson because the referees always listen to whatever he says. And I am a Spurs fan. You tell me if I hate Derek Fisher. But anyway the clock did start late, and it was the ref controlling it.May 14, 2004 at 11:37PM View BBCode
Yum, sour grapes are tasty.May 15, 2004 at 12:17AM View BBCode
I dont like the Lakers too much. I'm really indifferent to the whole bench because they suck and never contribute much. The Lakers are very similar to the Yankees, they got lots of HOFers, most of whom are old, and are way better than everyone else on paper. I'll find it hilarious when Kobe and Payton leave, and Malone retires. Then all they got is Shaq, who will be injured a lot because of his toe. Of course, the Lakers will sign a bunch of other guys (T-Mac)May 15, 2004 at 02:22AM View formatted

I really dont think you can compare the Lakers with the Yankees. I mean besides great teams. The Yankees use their financial dominance to sign whoever they want. Payton and Malone took huge pay cuts to get a ring. The Lakers would not have been able to afford them with their previous contracts. The Yankees would pay anything if the guy had the numbers. Now if your talking about the comparison with people disliking the Yankees and Lakers then nevermind the above statement.;)May 18, 2004 at 11:39PM View BBCode

Yea, I was hatin Chauncey when he hit that half court shot, but atleast that was just luck. Fishers was luck too, but it shouldnt have counted because of the clock not starting on time.May 24, 2004 at 02:59AM View BBCode
the shot should have counted, 0.1 second is a very short amonut of time, and no clock person could have started it exactly on time. there is a rule ni the NBA that with 0.3 or fewer seconds you can only tip the ball, but with 0.4 or more you can try to shoot like fisher did.May 24, 2004 at 03:05AM View BBCode
I doubt it still would have gone in. Think about it, by the time it takes you to catch turn and shoot .4 seconds is over. Fisher had a lot of extra time because the clock didnt start on time.May 24, 2004 at 03:14AM View BBCode
Why hate the man??? Because he won a game for the Lakers?? Lets remember that the playoffs are a series and not one game. If the Spurs wanted(key word) to win it all they would have tried in game 6. The Lakers coming back after going 0-2, to win 4 straight says it all. And not many teams come back going down 2 games, especially in basketball.June 01, 2004 at 11:23PM View BBCode
Screw Minnesota, I don't care anymore. Ok actually I still wanted LA to lose but didnt care much.June 01, 2004 at 11:27PM View BBCode
The thing is Fisher's shot shouldnt have counted, giving the Spurs a three games to two lead instead of the Lakers. That momentum swing is tremendous.
