All Star Ballot

Don't forget to vote for the allstars:

IMO - ever since they put this online, there have been much better all star teams - based on how good a player is doing verses in the past where it was how good he used to be.

Except for Nomar somehow getting so many votes for nothing...
Bu8t thanks for the link, I totally forgot that you could vote online!
All Chicago ticket for me! I'm going to abuse the system!:D

Dunno why I'm doing this, but wanted to share who I voted fer...
AL: Mike Sweeney, Jerry Hairston (for the O's fans), Mike Young, Hank Blalock, Jason Varitek, Carlos Beltran, Manny Ramirez, Vladimir Guererro
NL: Sean Casey ('twas hard not to vote for Pujols, but maybe I'll write him in...), Jeff Kent, Edgar Renteria, Adrian Beltre, Michael Barrett, Steve Finley, Craig Wilson, Ken Griffey Jr. (granted he stays healthy till the All-Star Game. :D)
Comments and criticism welcome.

I just want to say something about Beltre, but the kid is having some really tough luck this year. He gets off to an amazing start (for anyone who has followed Beltre the last few years that is extra amazing) and carries the Dodgers to a great start. Next thing you know he gets hurt and he will probably end the season batting under .260, all because he wants to play though his injury (which will require surgery). He had a chance to put together a full strong season (rather then waiting until September to hit .400 with 10 HRs and 30 RBIs) and lead the Dodgers to the postseason. Instead he gets hurt (which didn't happen when he sucked)
I wish he would go in for surgery and try and make it back for the end of the season, everytime he swings you can see him grimmace and hop around gingerly. It is really hard to watch with the way he finally seemed to be breaking through.
Anyways I voted a few weeks ago and I am too lazy to do it again...

I really don't like that form. Marco Scutaro has no chance to make it even though he's been better than most 2Bs. Menechino is still the so-called Oak 2B, even though he plays for Toronto:mad:

They do the ballots at the beginning of the season, and can't change them afterwards, since they have to print a lot of them to put in the ballparks.
my team:
AL:
C - Javy Lopez
1B - Rafael Palmiero
2B - (write in) Brian roberts
SS - Miguel Tejada
3B - Melvin Mora
OF - Jay Gibbons
OF - Luis Matos
OF - Larry Bigbie
NL:
C - Brian Schneider
1B - Nick Johnson (if Nomah can make it without playing, so can he)
2B - Jose Vidro
SS - Orlando Cabrera
3B - Tony Batista
OF - Brad Wilkerson
OF - Termell Sledge (he might have been a write in)
OF - Carl Everett
I did a couple ballots of ballot-stuffing, and a few real ballots.

before when Brian Roberts was leading the lead in SBs, and had like a .315 BA and stuff, it was stupid that he wasnt even on the all star ballot.
