Seems like there are a good amount of Indians fans on the board. They are only 2 games back of .500 and 4.5 back of first. Things are looking up for the club and playoffs aren't completely out of reach for this year and Im almost certain that they will be a playoff team next year. GO TRIBE!!!!

I'm a big tribe fan (avatar is Victor Martinez). Because of the weak AL Central, they have a shot this year. They're winning today also.

He used to play with the minor league team here, he was here for like 4 years or something. He was Paul Lo Duca's back up for a little.

it means that the indians have good (starting) pitching.
if they can get a few relievers they could be in the race. the bullpen is totaly worthless now and if it doesnt get any better they wont be able to make it.

Does the Tribe have any good relief? Jose Jiminez is the only ok guy I can think of.

They are only 4 back of first now. If the pen didnt blow 14 or 15 games they would be in first by far. The pen is actually settling down a bit now (knocks on wood). Matt Miller has been a great find from AAA. He is a journeyman but throws sidearm. Hes got a 1.40 or something like that ERA. Riske is settling down but is still risky. :cool:

After a bad loss to the Mets yesterday, the Tribe comes back strong and rock the Mets 9-1. CC pitched a gem, going 8 innings and giving up one run, and only being hit hard once or twice.Rec: 31-32
