The YBL is unique because each team will be based on actual teams that existed in the1950s and now 1960s. All player names (pitchers, position, and minor league) are the real players who played on these teams.

There will be an expansion draft for all new teams and those current teams that elect to participate in the draft. I estimate the draft will take place on July 10 (plus or minus a day).
There is currently a discussion to increase the number of games played per day from 9 games/day to 12 games/day. You are welcome to join the discussion as soon as you become an official owner.
The Yogi Berra League will cost $55 for 10 months play. Read the League Rules. You agree to play by these rules when you join the YBL.
You can join the league by posting your team request here AND sending me a u2u message. Include your screen name, email address, and the team you want to adopt. Its yours if the owner does not renew.
Tyson will provide renewing and new owners payment instructions.

The first 10 months of the Yogi Berra League are coming to a close. Some owners are retiring, most are returning. Will the upcoming season be continued with the same players that are currently on these teams, or will everybody start with a new draft?
