Allow people who have just purchased a replacement Dynasty or Speed/Private team to have access to certain screens for the team as soon as they've made the purchase.
What I am suggesting is that a replacement league owner would be able to SEE (though not change) the depth chart/lineup/rotation and bullpen screens as soon as purchase is made. They would, however, be able to begin ranking the draft as soon as their purchase is made or the draft is available, rather than having just a one day window to do so. The owner that is giving up the team would still have access through the current season to everything EXCEPT for changing the draft.
I recently took over a Dynasty league team, but didn't really have a chance because of real life to go through and do a full draft sort on it. So I had to basically leave the old owners settings in place and hope for the best. My first round pick, #6 in the draft, ended up being this:

Now, don't get me wrong, I love A+ power. Just not with F contact. And I don't blame anyone but myself. But if I'd had the full week between purchasing the team and fully taking it over to do my usual draft sort, that would NOT have happened. And it does place a bit of damper on my enthusiasm for taking on a new team.
Doing this might be a bit painful on the programming end, but it also could be used as a motivator to buy more full price Dynasty replacement teams as you could start working on your draft as soon as you're done with the purchase.
Just a thought, see what anyone else thinks?

It would be nice if the new owner could move his franchise right away too. Then we won't have to look at team names like the Milwaukee Marlins or the Texas Yankees for a season.Pages: 1
