Not a good idea in my opinion. Anybody think they'll ever be good. They said that they don't want anyone with a big contract or a long term contract, so basically they don't want anybody good. It really bugs me that they picked up Okefor. I love him and I really think that he'll be a waste in Charlotte.June 25, 2004 at 03:20PM View BBCode
they will take on big contracts later on, but they have a smaller salary cap than the rest of the league for the first 2 years, so they didn't want to get bogged down with a massive contract the first 2 years, and have to ifll the roster with minimum wage players. They will be good in a few years once they get some good picks and are able to sign free agents that are good(ie. when they have full salary cap)June 25, 2004 at 03:28PM View BBCode
the bobcats are gonna chill at number 30 for a few and once they work up their team with a couple of high picks in the draft, theyll go for some bigger name players. but right now theyre hoping for an allstar performance from okafor. they got some potential on their team. im interested to see what they can do.June 25, 2004 at 03:33PM View formatted

You know, everybody says that about the Clippers every year they have the first pick. Then the players they get become good and then they trade them. It's happened every time.June 26, 2004 at 03:23AM View BBCode
the clippers are a bad example becasuse there owner wouldn't spend a dollar to save his own mother. He is a very very very cheap owner, and they are horrible drafters(olwandaki, miles, etc)Pages: 1
