I think a good idea would be to have a log for each team or player showing what they have improved at and when they improved. Would help keep us from having to look at each individual boxscore to see if one of our guys improved.

Good suggestion. It would also be helpful to see this for the offseason, like an offseason report card. Who realized improvements, who realized diminishing skills, and who retired.
