thats pretty awesome...how bout Elmer McVey, 0 for 14 in just 2 games. even managed to go 0 for 8 without striking out in one game.
how's that whole AAA experiment workin out over there in the Foxx League?

Fresh enough that it hasn't been exploited yet. (Maybe it can't be. Time will tell.)
It's funny because you just need two GMs in the same league to have the "build and bust" mentality at the same time and you can make the playoffs every time. I got the #1 overall pick for the second straight year from my AAA team and also made the playoffs this season (lost in 6).
It's only been three or four seasons, so it is too early to tell whether tanking helps. I think if you are guaranteed a Top 8 pick every year it is a lot easier to stay on top. We'll see. But for now, it looks like I finally found a league that works with my management style.
