And the annual free fall begins!!!!!!

Here we go again! After such a promising start my team has begun the freefall, 1-9 in the last 10 gms and a 8 gm losing streak. I've made the proper tweaks to the lineup and have the best team on the field, except when players are tired. My bullpen sucks! Just had to vent.:mad::mad::mad:

I should just let you vent and let the above statement go due to said venting (We've ALL been in those shoes!) but you've caught me at the right (wrong?) time. Also maybe I am just not reading it correctly but your sadly mistaken if you think you are fielding the best team. There are 4 teams in the AL alone who are much better than your team. Not one of your starting fielders would start on 2 of those teams. Not one. Only 1-2 would start on the other 2 teams. Baltimore is the meat of the AL after their brilliant recent trades.
I'm sure I come off as petty and I would agree lol If you search the entirity of all my SIM posts you'll see some pretty ignorant statements I made early on in my SIM career. I've learned a few things since then not the least of which is it's impossible to come off looking good with venting posts.

Here's a good example (former league memeber btw). Comical stuff. Sometimes 5th place calibur teams come in 5th regardless of what an owner thinks he owns.

I should have clarified, THE BEST TEAM THAT I CAN POSSIBLY FIELD. I know that my team isn't one of the best in the league, but they certainly shouldn't be on a 10 game losing streak. My bad, I didn't clarify earlier.

The thing I hate most is the ugly player card stat from 1998. I had gotten 5 cps from another team only to look on day and my guy is pitching for him. Sweet.

And now a little over a month into the season, the Bohs have their 5th injury of the season, the 4th to a pitcher!!! The 5 injuries represent 1/3 of all the injuries in the VPL!!! I am not sure if we are the meat, the sandwich, or the MASH unit of the VPL AL!!!!

Rowe will come around, eventually. That's definitely an ugly stat line. Are you giving him a quick hook if he gives up a bunch of runs? A couple games like that will ruin an ERA pretty quickly.
(When I have a good pitcher I always have it set so he stays in even if he gets hammered early on. His ratings are the same, and I don't want to go to the bullpen early on simply due to some bad luck.)

It's just bad luck. Rowe isn't a superstar but I know it's just an outlier sample. I wasn't really irritated with Rowe - more trying to deflect attention from me playing the idiot and simyelling at Dreski for something he didn't say. Fittingly he took me 2 out of 3 today hammering ol Jimmy in game 2. Touche, sir, touche.

hey bayside, I apologize for my predecesor, but when he went to turn control over to my ownership, he went to sign the contract in pencil. We had to settle for a pokemon pen, but glad to say I've turned that ship around finally.
