i give this less than 24 hours till it gets shut down, far too controversial of subject, but i think th best way is lethal injection, pretty quick and painless

I still say the guillotine is the most efficient. It's quick. It's inexpensive. Plus it's re-usable.

How expensive if Cyanide? How would you distrubite it? Think of the costs. The question was which way was the most 'efficient.'

i say we put them all in a little cell on an island in canada and when we get a mill or so we just take a big ol plane and drop an a-bomb on them.

That's a very broad generalization. And many "criminals" aren't bad people at all, they just break bogus laws.
As for when I said Cyanide I was just thinking of a painful way to kill someone. It's quick but it's painful. As for efficent, gas chamber is pretty good because you can kill multiple people at once. A giant microwave would probably be THE MOST efficent, though incredibly inhumane and sick.

Efficient? Firing squad, clearly. Bullets are cheap and every prison has a bunch of gaurds who can shoot straight enough to kill a guy. Do it on a tarp to keep the mess all in one place, and then just roll it up and toss it in the ground. That's as efficent as it gets. They've already got the guns and ammo, and one cheapo tarp per execution can't possibly cost that much.Oh yeah...this topic is scheduled for execution--soon. :lol:

Or just toss them in a room with no venalation. That would work too, just let them run out of air. Toss 20 people in a little room and watch them all die without costing anybody any money.

actually wouldn't suffacation be more efficient than a fire squad? All you would need is to a table with straps to hold the prisoner in place and a cheap $2 pillow. A guard could do it so you wouldn't even need to pay extra labor, or if they wanted to pay extra labor they could just hire a person to do all of it.Or just toss them in a room with no venalation. no, there is a more efficient way than any of those. one that will MAKE money. BRING BACK GLADIATORS!!!!! you see, sure 1 horrible murderer in every 40 or 50 or so would just be released. in fact, the most horrible of the horrible will be released. teh guy who could kill everyone else, BUT it would make money. SELL TICKETS!!!! man, that would rule. Dont know if any of you have heard my awesome gladiator theory. Basically the only penalty is either fines or death. Sometimes you get points. like 300 points for rape, and if you get to 500, you have to go into the gladiator fight. Man would that rule. not only would i buy tickets, i would buy SEASON TICKETS!!!!

It was actually very hard for the criminals(or slaves) to win since they were usually given far less equipment and training. In today's age it would be even harder because criminals tend to use guns and with gladiators it would be a sword fight. Without proper sword training it would be very difficult to defeat a swordsman.
But alas, our "humane" society prefered to burn witches and eventually moved to frying them in an electric chair. Eventually we brought in lethal injection, but it's all the same. The person still dies. So you might as well bring some entertainment back to the community. As much as people say it is sick they'd still go see the show because deep down everybody loves a little blood, which is why hollywood is so successful.

Yes, the Romans had a great idea with gladiators. You know they were originally introduced as a way of lower crime. The emperor(i forget who it was that built the collusium) had a theory that giving the public an entertaining blood bath would keep their animalistic behaviors to a minimum.
