On August 28 of last season, Sam Picone threw his second perfect game in 38 days, this time against the Boston Townies. He struck out 8. The only near-hits were a ground ball in the second base hole snagged by a diving Admiral Marte and flipped backhanded to first, and a "swinging bunt" fielded bare-handed by Stoney Collins at short.
