Peace Treaty???????

I may have been a little harsh when commenting on the Dallas/Portland trade the other day. I will admit I was hoping to stir the pot, it can get a little boring around here, but I dont want to blunt anyone´s enthusiasm for the game either.
I think this group of players is the best we´ve had since the league started. More people seem to be actively participating and thats a good thing for the league, so I hope it continues. So in the interest of all concerned (and the Christmas season :saint: ) I would like to offer a peace treaty.
Timothy, I honestly thought you were kidding when you made the thumping comment the other night so I went with it. Obviously you weren't, and while I stand by my comments, I would also say I respect the fact that you are always working to get better and I really respect that you are not afraid to stand up for yourself.
Like I said, I hope the new found message board activity continues. Irishman has added a lot of life to the league as has Bucs, Rockpile, jerryscoins and as always, neboguy. I hope some of you other guys will join in too.
I know this game is a lot of fun for me, I hope it´s the same for you guys. Going forward I hope we can continue to talk (and argue a little) about the game and anything else.

I am reposting this thread because I am tired of Timmy´s "version" of the truth. As I said before, I stand by my comments on his trading, its ridiculously bad, but when we tried to include him, see above, he completely ignored us and now has accused us of "breaking the code of conduct". So I thought I would throw up some Timmyisims just for the record.

I'm going to thump you like a drum next season, rich(-1).
NY beats Portland 35-9 and 27-9. Whats interesting is those were better results than he achieved the season before against me. I thought I knew the meaning of "thumping" but apparently Timmy must think it means attacking the other guy´s hand with your face. If thats true then maybe he did thump me.

(-1) my man! your offense is old and your defense isn't far behind. my defense is arguably the most dominant, with my front 7 being responsible for the majority of my 83 sacks and 20 forced fumbles, and the second highest return yards average per interception. I'll be in the playoffs next year, you can watch on the couch.
I did only give up 90 fewer points then Timmy last season. Of course I outscored him by 333. Also, I will check my math, but I dont think 6-10 made the playoffs last season. It was an improvement for him however. Ive also never seen anyone point to their Int Return Yard Ave as an indicator of their defensive dominance, but ok.
I did however watch the NFL games from my new couch this weekend and it was sooooo comfy, gonna do it again next weekend. So he got that one right.

We'll see ! You people are snobs and you are the one who traded all those picks to (-1) and SA. You show a type of mutual cooperation that borders on mobbing. Why don't you just focus on your team and try to keep your silly opinions to yourself. As you can see I have been in the league for just a little while but that, by no means, requires me to allow a bunch of bullies to try to dictate what I should do with my own team. Try to keep your nose out of it, if you can!
Ive never actually made a trade with SA because we´d been slugging it out for championship honors the last 9 years, until Timmy stepped in that is and started to trade with Dallas, who beat me in the SB, in great part because of Superstar John Peery, whose rights Timmy traded to Dallas! So in a way, Timmy actually did stop me, even if he´s 0-16 lifetime vs my poor "old" Trojans

I only react to what some people in this league have to say about my decisions, I don't want or need your feedback on my team!
The .303 lifetime winning % actually represents progress over the last two seasons. Things are looking up!

Here's a simple solution just post your back biting comments on u2u and we will all be fine. Or if you want to try to demean other owners then continue your open forum comments. It's up to you.
I recall the immortal words of my grandma, "I think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black"

(-1) If your so dominant why do you have to brag about it? What is it that is missing from your Perfect record that is not enough to satisfy you? I can see that you want to continue this in a open forum, so (-1) means some thing is missing. What can it be, I wonder? You aren't satisfied with 14-0, you have to ridicule your opponent as well? Good sportsmanship! I'm game, let's have an open brawl!
It aint braggin if you can do it - Deion Sanders
But seriously. I have never once turned away anyone who's asked me for advice. In fact I think its fair to say I have gone out of my way to help a good number of people in this league and others because it is just a game and competition is good for all. I commented on that trade by complimenting irish. If Timmy was insulted I´m sorry but frankly I was right, as anyone can see by the direction of those two franchises are going.
