Correction:

Lino fell behind Makowski, but another Hammer (Red Short) got the spot.

I have to remember to wait until the playoff game runs to check the AS team. Red was in the .260's with a low 700's OPS, but I guess Makowski had a worse AS appearance once upon a time.

Makowski has been one of the most dominant hitters of his era. It is amazing how many times he has led the league in hits, runs, HR ... you name the category. An amazing career. I would say that with the hardware he has acquired, there is no more doubt about his HOF worthiness.

I agree (obviously biased though). That one MVP year he set like 3 different single season records.

Although you never know, one of the voters could give their vote away to Deadspin.
