player almost makes 3 outs in inning

Larry Doby League: In the inning that would not end, SF scored 16 runs in the 2cd inning of a 19-3 victory vs.COL in gm 155 http://simdynasty.com/boxscore.jsp?boxscoreid=26970794&cityid=31 The inning included 9 1B's 3 2B's, 2 HR,2 BB,1 HB and 1 error vs. 3 pitchers. The inning started with a ground out by 1B Chucky Hargrove, who then also grounded out for the 2cd out of the inning and ACTUALLY came up for a THIRD time in the inning and the opportunity to make ALL THREE OUTS! He singled,though to avoid the ignominious feat. Researched this online and found that no player in the history of modern major league baseball has ever made 3 separate outs in 3 plate appearances in 1 inning.(DP's don't count).
