I have a bone to pick with my franchise worst. I would technically say it wasn't in 82 because that was the season I picked up the team as an abandoned team and there was little more than a month and a half on it to play when i signed on.

The Green Sox set a new record for futility, and Oakland sunk to a new low as vickiroepke continued his rebuild, but not as low as the franchise has seen. Washington tied their own team low for losses.
Outside of Pittsburgh's winning effort, no other news out of the National League - not even San Diego could match their previous worst though they did snag the first pick with the worst GGL team record this season.

Updated both 2006 and 2007. Looks like all the action was in the NL the last two years. And, of course, Compton will be seeing some bold blue at the end of 2008, being his first year with us.RIP Slimlizard. I hope and pray that everything is well in Ed's world.
