If you have literally nothing else to do

Then go check this out. I've started gathering my incoherent thoughts about the nba here:

Very cool!! Interesting article on the Lakers situation without Kobe. The Bledsoe article was also excellent. Keep it up!

Haha. It shouldn't matter as the Cavs have proven that are inept when it comes to the NBA draft.

The Cavs problem is that we (yes, I'm a Cavs fan) end up drafting like it is a mock draft and try to find the players with the most talent/biggest upside, rather than what fits together. I think Waiters and Tristian Thompson were solid picks based on who was available. But I don't know how well they fit, particularly Waiters. I'm excited to see if a new coach can solve the Kyrie/Waiters puzzle. I don't think it is a personality issue, it is really figuring out a way to match their skills to an offensive scheme. Hopefully a coach with more offensive chops than Mike Brown will be able to figure out how to play them together effectively.

Bennett looks like a huge swing and miss at this point, especially given that we already had Thompson and Varejao. But I'm not ready to write him off. It was an historically bad draft, nearly all the lottery teams have come up empty.

Any of the top 3 prospects look really good to me at this point. I'd be happy putting them in a hat and randomly making the pick, or just let Johnny Manziel make the pick. http://cbsprt.co/1gQ5DfX

I guess if you keep getting #1 picks, something is going to stick, right?

Supposedly Bennett had a mess of injuries/problems that prohibited him from being good last year. I actually think he will be a good player, but I still think there were players available who will be better.

I'm still perplexed on how a 23 year old guy in the FREAKING NBA doesn't know which hand he shoots with. (Tristan Thompson)

Yeah, it is strange to think about. But I'm a righty. My daughter writes left handed, and we don't have anyone else in our immediate families that are left handed so it has been a learning experience. What I've found and heard is that left handers very rarely do EVERYTHING left handed. Some things she'll probably learn to do righty, stuff you don't even think about like which foot do you put in front when you dive into a pool, or which arm goes down first when you do a cartwheel.

They might write left handed, but throw right handed, golf right handed, or do other tasks right handed. For example, Lebron James writes and eats left handed but shoots right handed.

He did shoot better from the line this year as a righty, but slightly worse from the field. It will be interesting to see whether he continues to improve as a righty, or if he's about the same no matter what hand he uses.

No argument here about the learning experience - I eat left handed but do most other tasks right handed - but it baffles me that a kid got a scholarship to Texas, and then made the NBA, without knowing which hand he shot with.

Well it looks like (for now) that the Cavs made the right pick, taking Wiggins first. But highly unlikely that Lebron will go back to Cleveland, now that Bosh, Wade and Haslem all opted out.

At least they didn't screw this one up. I would have rather seen them take Embiid, but it would be a tough sell to a new coach to take a guy that will miss most, if not all, of this year.

I'm a little worried about the Bulls. I didn't love the McDermott pick, and I especially didn't love trading another first rounder in a loaded draft to get him. The trade only saved them a few hundred thousand dollars for Carmelo, and cost them a chance at drafting an extremely useful (and cheap) player.

Boom. LeBron to the Cavs.

as much as i hated James teaming up with Wade and Bosh, it was kind of fun to root against a team so hard, but I'm glad he went back. I hope they keep Wiggins, that'll be a really fun team to watch., with or without Love.

That was a fun day. The best move would probably be to flip Wiggins for Love, but I suspect they will try to keep him, LeBron, and Kyrie together for the long haul. I wish is was November already.

am i the only NBA fan that had never seen or heard of this video of a blazed out (assumed) Delonte West freestyling at the KFC drive through? It's long, but pretty funny. I don't mean funny as in, what a pathetic idiot and a loser funny, i think rapping off the top of your head is stupidly impossible, so unless you're a real genius, it's bound to be funny.

I got your chicken, mang...chick...chick...chicken wang.

I think you can take the assumed out of it. If Delonte is breathing, there is a good chance he is blazed.
