There's something going on with FG.

65 yard FG?!?!?!

The holder is a B. The kicker has attempted 10 FGs from over 50 yds. This 65 yarder was the only one he made. The ball was halfway up the uprights so he had plenty of distance for a 70 yd FG. Surprising from A power?

Not even Akers had that range ...
And the weird is that in my previous game, in the OT both teams failed 35-40 yd FG 3 times in a row.

He's kicking in ideal conditions with a lot of power and accuracy. His chance of making that kick was about 25%.

His chance of hitting a 70 yarder is about 12%. Most people don't have their rules set to allow attempts that only have a 12% chance of success so these kinds of kicks never happens in actual games.

I would suggest that Akers would have a similar chance of success but again no coach would put him out there to try unless it were an absolute last-second situation, and he would miss 6 out of every 7 tries.

He hit one 82 yard field goal in 600 practice attempts (in those conditions, with that holder) for a 0.17% success rate.

Yes. But I still think that something's not going the right way with the FG/PAT.

Look at this: http://footballbeta.simdynasty.com/boxscore.jsp?boxscoreid=62375&pos=129

An 80 ACC Kicker w/good hold that misses a PAT. Not blocked. Failed.
I think that this cannot happen in NFL.

There is no kick in the game that has a 100% chance of success no matter how good the players involved. Even a player with perfect ratings has a minimum 0.1% (one in a thousand) chance of catching the ball wrong and muffing the kick.

His chance of success on that kick was 99.6%, so he just got really unlucky.
