Retired players would be eligible for hire. It could incorporate the leadership piece of a players career and apply it to say the comeback aspect of the game.
It would allow managers to improve in leadership based on record as well. Organizations could then have manager win loss records to add to an organization resume so to speak. It would also add to the players life value and recognition of it as seasons pass.
Thoughts?

I like it, and I think they should have a small Mentor ability. I think in RL you certainly see mentors and coaches who have a certain talent for developing young players.
