According to the database of major league injury lengths, that type of injury is consistent with a broken finger, a broken rib, or a deep bone bruise on the knee. Your choice.

Well, losing Jordan didn't help, but it isn't the reason the Natty Bohs went down 4-1. In all four losses, they took a lead and then blew it. Can't do that against a team as good as Oakland.

My pen in the ALCS: 9.2 IP, 0-4, 12 runs, though only five earned (can't anyone here catch the ball?).

Actually, I was worried about this series from the start, since the Twins had beaten my codebits in the season series head-to-head.

Oh, well, good job, Oakland, and good luck in the series. Now, to rank this horrific draft class....

Thanks and congrats to you as well. I was glad to get passed you. The WS was a wild one and one I'll likely cherish a long time! Congrats to San Diego on a fine season too.
