Wow Dan what more can be said? 11 trips to the world series and 8 rings in 13 seasons. Pretty incredible! Congrats to Panele, Al champ as well on a great season.

Thanks guys. I'm amazed my team pulled it out this year. With (another) injury to Steve May and the sharp decline of Alberto Brown, others had to step up and fill the void. I feel lucky to have beaten Seattle. His pitching staff is incredible; I don't know if I can hang with them if I make it back next year.
The thing I'm most excited about is that Ralph Miller, Dick Umphlett, and Alberto Brown won their 8th World Series rings. I believe that is tied for the most ever (it is among HOF members). I'm assuming Umphlett and Miller will retire after incredible careers, but I hope one of them can come back to go for a record 9th ring.
I'm going to try to squeeze one or two more years out of this team, we'll see how it goes.

Congratulations Dan. What a dynasty!! You are on the top and I am stuck at the bottom of the A.L. for hopefully not much longer. I have some younger guys and minor leaguers almost ready to step up. My goal for this season is 75 wins if I can make it. I won 63 last year.
