Definition of "grit": Get no-hit at home to go down 3-2 in the series and then win 2 on the road to move on to the WS.February 12, 2017 at 03:45PM View BBCode
See Philly Athletics for definition of not grit...Commit 10 errors in 139 games then commit 3 in 7 game series.February 12, 2017 at 05:19PM View BBCode
This is the grittiest team I've ever had. We were behind Texas 10 games with only 25 games left and somehow made the playoffs. No hit by KC and then winning two on the road to make the World Series. Now we are getting stomped by Chc, I'd say we got them right where we want them!February 12, 2017 at 10:59PM View formatted

Wow, never thought it would end like that. 24 hits and 5 bbs and still get the loss. The biggest stat and what always seems so be my downfall, 16 runners left on to the chn 6. Oh well great series and a fun ride. Congrats to the cubbies.February 13, 2017 at 01:16AM View BBCode
We were down 10-3 in the 9th and came back to tie it. Scored 2 in extras only to be tied again and eventually lose. The Bad News Bears have nothing on us. Spoilers: they lose.February 13, 2017 at 02:32AM View BBCode
Congrats Rich and you put up a great fight Justin!February 13, 2017 at 02:49AM View BBCode
Thanks! I think I've gotten a little lucky the last couple years against some really good teams!Pages: 1
