Right now jeff weaver is in the drivers seat to accomplish the feat in the al, but he has a teammate nipping at his heels in avg and hrs.

When I saw the headline I thought someone must have went on a tear. I knew McDaniel hit 4 in his last 4 games and he was a couple ahead of everyone except Bond the last I looked and neither of them are hitting for average.

I felt like i needed to put the al designation in there because theres no way were catching your 2 mashers this season.
