The Jackie Robinson league was the first private league and is just about to finish its 4th decade of play. We are currently just starting our 40th season (1989) and are looking for 4 - 5 owners.
Brooklyn (NL), Chicago (NL), New York (AL), St. Louis (NL), & possibly Philadelphia (NL) need owners.
This is a very high-paced league with involved and competitive owners. We play 15 games per day, so a typical season only last about 2 weeks. We are looking to get dedicated, courteous owners who would like to take over a team.
Cost to join is $55, and is good for 20 seasons lasting approximately 10 months. We have a fair number of custom rules, so I encourage you to check out the Jackie Robinson League Message Board, particularly the post entitled "Jackie Robinson Rules".
If you are interested or have questions, please post here or u2u hcboomer or dawgfan. There will be an expansion draft among the 4 - 5 new owners and you will be permitted to change your team name. Thanks.

This is a great league with the best overall group of owners in SD. Be the among the first here to play a season in the future! Our next 20 seasons will cover 1990-2009.

I would be interested. Have just given up a 3 per day because I ahve found I really enjoy the 12-15 per day schedule.Vicar:saint:
