This should be a great game with 2 good defenses' and running games. It will most likely come down to turnovers and with a rookie QB at the helm for Pittsburgh I give NE the edgeJanuary 17, 2005 at 01:58AM View BBCode
I like NE in this game (yick... I hate to say that). Dillon didn't play in the first game and he should give the league's best defense all they can handle. The Jets proved that Roethlisberger can be exposed and it is uncertain how he will handle the nerves. If Richard Seymour doesn't play I could see PITT pulling this out but I think NE will win by a FG.January 17, 2005 at 01:59AM View BBCode
The Pats have to be the favorite.January 17, 2005 at 02:01AM View BBCode
What do you think the line will be on this game? Will Vegas really favor a road team that got beat in the regular season against this team?January 17, 2005 at 02:02AM View BBCode
Pats win by a TD. Belichek (or however you spell his name) will make Roethlisberger wish he was back in College.January 17, 2005 at 02:02AM View BBCode

Yay. Another Super Bowl for Bill Belichick and the Patriots. GROWN MEN DON'T WEAR SWEATSHIRTS TO WORK!

I think it will be a very small spread... maybe 2 pts or less in favor of New England.January 17, 2005 at 02:04AM View BBCode
I've heard that Vegas automatically give 3 points to the mone team and then goes from there. I see this game as a pick 'emJanuary 17, 2005 at 02:04AM View BBCode
Yes, of course. A rookie QB, that's worth a touchdown right there. Add up the fact that you have the defending champs, coming off a decisive victory against the team that a lot of people considered the favorites going in, versus a team that essentially came out of nowhere this year and only won their game this week because of a couple of missed field goals. The Steelers looked terrible against a Jets team that isn't anywhere near the Pats level. The Patriots should be the favorites on the road, and personally I wouldn't take the Steelers for less than about 6 or 7.January 17, 2005 at 02:06AM View BBCode
my thoughts exactly, furious (did I really just say that?!?:o)January 17, 2005 at 02:08AM View BBCode
well at least the Pats are starting to get a little respect from you guys.January 17, 2005 at 02:09AM View formatted

2 good defenses, good running games, and overrated quarterbacks.January 17, 2005 at 04:51AM View BBCode
I agree with the goat. Roethlesburger has gotten through his rookie collapse already. We all saw him suck against the Jets. I believe he will get over that and the Steelers will win a close one, maybe with a FG at the end of regulation.January 17, 2005 at 05:17AM View BBCode

The early line on this game is New England by 3. I'll see that and raise it 3 more. Big Ben has not looked like the same QB the last 3 games. I believe NE's defense will force him into mistakes - mistakes that Brady does not make and NE will win by 6.January 17, 2005 at 04:43PM View BBCode
As much as I hate to say it, I don't see the Pats losing this. I hope they do, but I just don't see it. Considering how the Jets D handled the Steelers, I see demolition by the Pats.January 17, 2005 at 04:54PM View BBCode
Yeah, the Pats could make this one look easy, but that Steeler D is pretty damn tough.January 17, 2005 at 05:49PM View BBCode
Many people seem to consider Corey Dillion to be the key to this game, as when the Pats lost to the Steelers this season, Dillion didn't play. Well, I looked up Dillion's stats versus the Steelers, a team his is very familar with over his career.January 17, 2005 at 06:15PM View BBCode
New England is going to win it all again... tht sucks...Pages: 1
