Slate of games on TNT tonight, with Houston v. Memphis @ 5 p.m. PST and Denver v. Golden State @ 8:30. I'll be watching just to hear Barkley gripe about covering a Warriors game.

Haaaw! As flakey as Sir Charles is from time to time, I must acknowledge his astute insights regarding the NBA.

It's too bad he is balooning-out since his retirement, though. Like most of the over-the-hill gang, he has evidently ceased working out and has embraced the wares of the local doughnut shop. I know all too well. My doctor has given me a wake-up call too. High blood pressure. Time to make like Rocky and work toward a comeback!

Thanks, WB, for the heads-up! I will likely watch "24" tonight, amidst the games. Good story. Usually don't watch TV other than sports and news, but this particular story has captivated me and many whom I deal with on a day to day basis.

I'm getting into full workout mode once I get out of Pendleton and its 20-degree weather. The Champ is ready for a comeback!
