I need a translator

From today's baseballprospectus:
"That would be lift and separate, turning the fan on. Get yourself a piece of cheese. Everything Frank Howard would say, he did on that pitch right there. That's getting the No. 1 and putting the whistle on it."
--Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, on the 456-foot home run Morneau hit off Kelvim Escobar
Did this thing go through the "English to Chinese" translator on Babelfish and back again about half a dozen times before it got printed? Because I don't understand a word of it.

I used an online translator much like you said and got:
That is the thrust force and the separation, turns on the ventilator. Obtains the cheese piece. All frank Howard thinks, his there did in that asphalt right. That' s obtains 1 and puts blows the mouth sentry post regarding this (Chinese)
That would be a jack and to separate and engage the ventilator. You receive a piece of cheese. * very sincere Howard to become, it to make on this right to say there. That receives that with No 1 and to sit it whistles on him (German-French)

Getting No. 1 and putting the whistle on it probably means "getting a fastball and beating the shit out of it," which sounds right. For lifting and seperating...maybe Morneau has a really nice rack?

Where's the Grammar Nazi? I'd give him a nice well-cooked German role, if he would only fulfill his proper roll around here.

Yes, cheese is fastball. It's the first sentence that's mystifying.

The GrammarNazi will not be taking your all-too-obvious bait, as he is not your dancing monkey.

Whatever man. I know my comma isn't correct in your elitist English regime, man, but that sentence is too long and too confusing without a pause. And for us free-thinkers, man, a language is moving, growing and changing, man--you can't OWN a language. Language breathes and flowsâ?¦is moves like notes in a song or water in a river. You uptight elitists don't understand that and you never will. That's so sad man.

It's rather easy, people. You've got to read the subconscious undertones here.
Ron Gardenhire is secretly in love with Justin Morneau, and anyone who didn't see that right off the bat is probably gay.
