John Blum has been grumbling ever since Jack Greenfield came over to the Gearheads. Blum ( http://www.simdynasty.com/beta/player.jsp?mode=player&playername=nobody&id=265 ) had counted on a shot at the closer role, but the Greenfield trade put the kibosh on that, and by the time Greenfield is ready to be put out to...um, a green field, Wally Cho will no doubt have grown into the spot.
So John Blum would like a change of scenery; the price of admission is an ace starting pitcher in return. A B+ will do if he has A- control or better, otherwise I need an A- overall or better. Veterans are fine as long as they're not looking for a walker next year...

Thanks for John Blum. He's happier now that he can compete for the closer job.
NOW, do you want to trade Ciaffone? I offered you Wally McGee for him.

Ciaffone is my backbone in three years... all of my current starting outfielders are in their 30's.

Obviously, I hadn't looked at Wally McGee before I made that statement... ;)

I needed to get younger and I was willing to part with one of the best hitters in the league to do it. I love Ciaffone.
My team looks 100 times better today than it did yesterday when I started. I got rid of three of my best players (Wally McGee, Barney Carlin, and Danny Fisher). I replaced them with three future all stars and I drafted a super stud. In three or four years, I should have the best starting pitching in the league. Look out Bob!!!

Of course in 3 or 4 years I'll have 7 or 8 rings. :o
Sorry, couldn't resist.
