and if so how much? im interested in starting one, but i need to know how much i would have to pay.

For this reason, at this time, we normally let the commissioners play for free. Its not a hard and fast rule, but that's how I've handled most of the leagues.
For both of these reasons, I don't let just anyone become a commissioner - I need mature people I know and trust to be commissioners - its a lot of work for me as well.
I also don't like to start more than 1 league at a time. I have one owner who is nearly ready to start his league, and another person who is on the list to start after him. If you're intersted in a league, I'll consider you - let me know. One thing I do is go back and read every post you've ever made - its a pain in the neck but it gives me a sense of whether you can handle the gig.

Being the commissioner is currently a lot of work - you're responsible for coordinating with us with dates of league events (drafts, starting seasons, etc.), recruiting the other owners, and you're also responsible for resolving all disputes and problems in your league.For this reason, at this time, we normally let the commissioners play for free. tyson, i know i sent you a u2u..this is just another forum in which to voice my needs/questions....in the post forum, i'm a newbie relatively....i've been checking out the site for a month plus and playing in the free single season leagues....i'm very comfortable w/ the format and am no stranger to fantasy baseball outside of this...i'm a baseball junkie with a jones for this site....i love it....i would love to start up my own custom league, i'm wondering about the start up and such...drop me a line and hopefully we can start some sort of a running dialogue....thanks man, Cameron
