If you are looking for team logos, i.e. avatars, here are some good places to look:

http://www.logoserver.com/ <---has every single logo ever made, at least for baseball he does. Simply unbelievable.

http://www.chriscreamer.com/ <---not a bad site, but not nearly as many as the one mentioned above.

I have been told that using logos from other people's websites steals a tiny bit of their bandwidth and that it probably should only be done with their permission.

I do not know much about this issue - so ask someone who knows more if you want better information. I'm just passsing on what I heard.

Thanks for the logo site - it's very good.

If you want to do it in a more proper fashion, the best way to do it is find the logo, then save it to your hard drive, then upload it to your webspace.

This assumes you have a website somewhere.
