I can't remember the last time that I saw a player dominate a playoff series as much as Pudge did last week. It seemed that he was involved in every critical play, whether it was batting, running, throwing, or blocking the plate. The guy is on a mission!
What other dominant performances can you guys recall during a series? I'm not talking about a great moment (there are many of those), but for an entire series.

I love Pudge but I hope he can't do crap for just a little while and then he can go back to being Pudge. Best catcher of all time?

Cubs-Marlins is going to be a good series. I wouldn't say these are the best two teams in the NL, but they're sure the best two teams after October 1st. I have to give the nod to the Cubs because of Prior and Wood, but as far as totality of guts + talent, I'd say these teams are about equal.
Though I have to pull for the Cubbies. The Marlins have won a championship in my lifetime, the Cubs haven't.

Boston-Chicago World Series

Yeah... I heard a couple of elderly gentlemen at the retirement home were sitting down for a baseball chat before bingo night. One was from Chicago, the other from Boston. The conversation went something like this...
"So... you remember the last time we won the World Series?"...
*insert long silence*
"Uhh... no."
"Me either."
