first, how hard would it be to change it so that players were listed for the positions that they are actually playing rather than what they are listed as. that way they would have to compete against players in the same position.
second, personally, i don't really feel that players from teams that are not being actively managed should really qualify. there are players on the all star board in the stengal league, where i play, from teams that the owner has never even bothered to set the order. hardly seems fair to give them recognition when most of the owners have spent time working with their teams to produce a winning lineup and rotation. anyway, just a thought. let me know what you think.
