Well, we knew it was coming.
Living up here by Chicago, we expected Bill to get canned anyday now. but will it help?
The bulls are underachieving so badly, Curry has marshmellow soft moves, and Chandler is all over the court hurting himself but he doesn't really do anything very well. Rose is pouting about minutes and all the trade talk, what's wrong with this team and how do we fix it?:puzzled:

jason williams had to be an idiot and get himself injured off the court with the motorcycle, and the draft where they got tyson chandler was a pretty weak one, so that is 2 high first round picks that don't amount to much. suck some more and see if you can get lucky.

A time machine would help...
*into the time machine, destination-June 1998*
1-Michael Jordan, you can stay as long as you want, and after you retire you will be an assistant GM just PLEASE stay...
2-Paul Silas will be hired for head coach duties from the Hornets
3-Elton Brand goes nowhere
4-Ron Artest goes nowhere
5-Trade for Michael Finley to bring him back to Chicago, his hometown.
But hindsight is always 20/20...

Lets not go crazy and scream "the sky is falling" yet... I still do think this team can be good one day, and maybe sooner than we think. The biggest problem is that your 2 best players, Chandler and Curry, are super young... Curry still can't drink legally. I know he's paid all this money, and should be better, but he's only 20, and he's acting like any 20 year old will... Inconsistent as hell. Last year he looked like crap the first half, and didn't play better until the second half anyhow. His work habits and conditioning are suspect and someone needs to light a fire under him. But he does have talent, he just needs to mature as a player AND a person.
Chandler has done great this year when healthy, but his back problems are a big concern... His work habits and effort make him a polar opposite of Curry
Rose missed camp, and still isn't in shape. Most of us here in Chicago never really liked Rose anyways, and figured he'd be gone. He's been all pouty about being put on the bench, but I don't think he's deserved to be a starter anyhow. Being a starter in the NBA really doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot anyhow, its how many minutes you get and when.
I'm beginning to think Crawford is a head case, I mean, he complains about being benched, but he hasn't been around all that long and probably wouldn't start on alot of teams. I can see Rose being mad about being benched, he's had a good career for the most part, but Crawford is still pretty raw.
I think the biggest problem is that the team just expected that they'd be good, and as a result came out so weak. Last season they finished strong, and I'm not so sure they worked too hard in the offseason. Williams crashes the bike even though he is prohibited from riding one per his contract, and he has no license. I just don't think this team has much discipline...
I've seen too many times when this team will come out and dominate for a quarter but end up losing by a whole ton. I remember them being down one at the half vs. Milwaukee and then ending up losing by 30... and they were up like 15-2 in the first quarter in that one. That shows me a team that has potential, but doesn't have its head in the game.

ive heard all these theories about michael jordan being hired as a player/coach. now i dunno wut kind of coach he would be but i would say that he would prolly inspire the team and he would definetly raise ticket sales and fan interest. now for him coming back as a player/coach, no he wouldnt do that but coaching their is a good chance.

Nah, I think Michael Jordan missed his chance. Before the Washington fiasco, he had a lot of good will. But the general concensus now is that people really aren't clamoring for more MJ anymore. He's still much loved, and anyone would want to have him involved in their organization. But he lost his Midas touch, and no longer has an aura about him, now he's just like any other retired future HOF. Respected for his accomplishments but brushed off as a relic of another time.
