The Nets just announced that Alonzo Mourning has officially retired. Apparenty he needs a kidney transplant now. It's sad, I liked him as a player, though he seemed to be a jerk in real life. But on the floor he brought it every night, he didn't deserved to get punked by that knucklehead Kenyon Martin.

i like martin and all but yea he was out of line with that kidney remark and should feel really bad about it and prolly does. i will miss alonzo he was a great player and as far as a know wuz a good person in real life too. he may not have been the best center and was alittle undersized but he had great work ethic and laid it all out every night, it is sad that his career ended this way, with him having to miss so much time then being cleared to play and then finding out after the first 15 games or so into the season that he cant play anymore.
