League Rules
$5 from each payment will go towards a league renewal prize. The winner will get $50 off their next renewal, 2nd place $20 and 3rd place $10 off. This will be based on the total number of team wins during the 14 seasons, with playoff wins counting double.
Owners must carry 2 major league catchers and can only start a catcher. A player must be at least 50% at catcher to be considered a catcher.
Amateur Draftees will be populated at 11PM EST once the league reaches or passes August 1st.
Trade deadline of 9/1, players must be acquired before 9/1 to be eligible for the postseason.
Waived or optioned players will stay on the waiver wire for 13 sim days.
You can only trade draft picks 3 years in advance.
NO CP TRADES.
Player name changes are permitted but keep it clean. Name changes allowed only in the first season for that player. After that only nicknames can be changed. Please make names at least sound like they could be names of baseball players.
No roster changes are permitted during the post-season. Exception --- In the event of a pitcher injury in the playoffs a team may promote a player from the minors between series. The owner must complete the next series with the new roster. No changes are allowed during a series.
Sitewide owner activity and trade protest rules apply. If you are inactive for 2 weeks without notifying the commish, you will be replaced. See this thread for trade protest process: http://www.simdynasty.com/oldforum-viewthread.jsp?tid=146616. We will require at least 2 formal complaints on a trade before it is put up for a vote and may pause the league while voting happens.

When are the game times? Are they spaced out every 1/2 hour? Are they in bunches? Please let us know.

Got some questions that might be answered by the SimD rules but I can't seem to find it anywhere maybe someone can link it. Would be nice to know now rather then having a decision on the spot.
What if 3 teams end the season tied for 1st or 2nd? How would the tie breaker be determined?
Post season substitution. The other league I'm in specifies that if a player is not on the 25man roster at the start of the 1st game he can't be eligible for the whole series. If a player gets hurt during the series you can't bring anyone up from the minors to replace him untill after the series. Just wondering if the rules are the same here?

Not sure about the 3 way tiebreaker. Wish I could help you. Dont think its ever happened though.
As far as the postseason rules go..that usually depends on the league specifics. In this league we have:
"No roster changes are permitted during the post-season. Exception --- In the event of a pitcher injury in the playoffs a team may promote a player from the minors between series. The owner must complete the next series with the new roster. No changes are allowed during a series. "
So if a pitcher is injured in the playoffs, then you can promote a replacement between series (assuming you win the LCS). If a hitter gets injured, then you are stuck with the team you got, although we could probably make that promotion rule apply to both pitchers and hitters if the desire was high enough.
