have you tried a dynasty league team? They move a lot slower, but some like the slower pace.

I will probably get both a dynasty team and try to weasel my way into a private league eventually. It's all about finding a place where everyone is regularly involved in the game.:)

Not yet, but I fully intend to. I discovered this site on a whim last month, just in time to get a single season team, and i've been hooked ever since!I will probably get both a dynasty team and try to weasel my way into a private league eventually. It's all about finding a place where everyone is regularly involved in the game.:)

I think all private and dynasty leagues have pretty involved owners. Not many people are going to pay for a team and then ignore it. You might get a few here and there, but for the most part pay leagues are pretty active.

It's so much more fun when most every owner is well aware of whats going on, and when there's more than maybe one trade in a season. I'll still keep a single season team as a way to experiment with ideas and the like, but overall i'm through with being exclusively single season...

Are you able to change a team name after all that time in your league?
And how much longer will your league go for, is there a certain year you can reach before its scrapped for a new league?

I don't know if I want to take over a pre-existing team in a league with a history quite yet.But on the other hand...

I think the league is good for a couple more months and then will be renewed. Most of the owners are coming back, and the ones that don't, will be replaced.

This might be a good chance for me to try my hand at this before the league starts over from scratch, which is what i'm really shooting for.

At that point, it used to be $40 for 10 months of play, remember, months not seasons. In this case, about 20 seasons. It's a bargain. I think the price went up a little, but it's still a steal.

I think the transfer fee is 10 bucks, and that's good until the league has to renew, which is a couple months away. And we play 15 games per day, so a season lasts about 2 weeks. What must be done to make this transfer happen?
I have to go right now, but i'll check back around 3 or 4 for a response, so please lay out for me what I must do.
I've never had any team that I had to pay for, so don't leave much out, thanks!

He'll give you a link to pay for the team using paypal. You'll have to sign up for a new username, but do not select a team, just close the window. Then use the link Tyson provides you, then he'll put you in and notify you that you have the team.
