Well, finally get one of my big bats and my closer back. I am healthy again and seem to have righted the ship somewhat. Still, with Philadelphia playing lights out...cant afford too many losses early on. Philadelphia will be a tough squad to catch..cant let them get a huge lead. My pitching is very inconsistent..just have to see how it plays out. Good luck to all. :cool:October 03, 2007 at 06:20AM View BBCode
What your pitching is inconsistent?October 03, 2007 at 10:20AM View BBCode
my boys in philly are tough....but not lights out. Some of my early sucess has been smoke and mirrors and Im going to have my stars keep playing well and have the bottom half of my rotation play a lot better in order to keep it upOctober 03, 2007 at 07:58PM View BBCode
Yeah, that Philly team is pretty tough to beat. Although, the 9 games we've played against one another have, so far, been decided by 2 runs or less.October 03, 2007 at 10:13PM View BBCode
As a matter of fact Dwight, everything is pretty much Georgie boys fault, but this is baseball and we will leave politics aside. I should not have ran that pic..so I send an apology for that pic in a baseball site, but not for my thoughts on the scum in the white house. As for the league, several very good teams that are pretty solid from top to bottom. It is early but I guess my team in the last league sort of spoiled me..I nearly led from start to finish but folded in the playoffs. Still, this is loads of fun and actually having a less talented team is more of a challenge. Take care. No hard feelings Dwight.October 03, 2007 at 10:13PM View BBCode

No prob...I still should not have put up anything political in a baseball forum because that can create hard feelings and ruin things. I was just looking at your resume...wow..so you founded the Lou Whitaker league? I have been thinking of buying in to the dynasty leagues..dont know a lot about how it works..I suppose you keep the same players from year to year and draft etc.? This is my third or fourth single season and I really enjoy the game. Well, gotta go...try to find me a long reliever..LOL. Take care my friend. Peace.October 05, 2007 at 12:07AM View BBCode
Wow,just blew another late inning lead. My closer and set up men are OK,but I just cant seem to get through the 6th and 7th innings. Oh well. Anyone have a good reliever with at least a C indurance? I am willing to trade if the price is right. Maybe another starter would be good too...anyone want to deal some pitching..hit me up and lets talk!October 05, 2007 at 12:22AM View formatted

I think I am going to sign up for one after this season is finished. Take care.October 05, 2007 at 11:17AM View BBCode
make sure you pick your team wisely. too old, too young and too untalented can make for some long seasons.October 05, 2007 at 10:48PM View BBCode
Yeah, playing in dynasty makes you consider a little of everything..age,injuries etc. I think it will be fun..everyone that I have talked to have said that they really enjoy the dynasty leagues.Pages: 1
