I read an insightful article about Tupac Shakur recently. It listed several facts about him, all of which are pretty interesting, whether you care for his music or not...January 09, 2004 at 01:19PM View BBCode

...that he got shot in the scrotum. ouch!January 09, 2004 at 08:24PM View BBCode
r these true facts or r u just poking fun at him? i knew he wuz a pretty complicated guy and him liking songs from les miserables doesnt surprise me too much but i didnt know that he wuz prematurely bald or he got shot in the scrotum (probably didnt wanna know that last one, sounds EXTREMELY painful.)January 09, 2004 at 09:07PM View BBCode
Never heard of any of them, and I find myself to be a huge Pac fan. Every fact but the last one seems possible, he was a pretty serious dude and into the arts and theater, but never heard he got shot in the scrotum, and I have been researching him on and off for the last couple years.January 09, 2004 at 09:09PM View BBCode
he wuz a pretty serious dude and i wouldnt doubt any of them except maybe the last but maybe not. sad that he died though cuz i think that he wuz the greatest rapper ever.January 09, 2004 at 09:16PM View BBCode

Plus, I won't poke fun at Tupac, I respect him. I didn't always like his music, but not because it was bad. He was a true musician, not like Chingy and crap like that. REAL music...January 09, 2004 at 09:31PM View BBCode
A lot of people that don't like rap liked Tupac. Songs like To live and die in LA, Shed so Many Tears, I ain't mad at ya, and Changes... he was far more versatile in what he talked about than any other rap music I've heard.January 09, 2004 at 09:38PM View BBCode

He had a very interesting life....January 09, 2004 at 10:29PM View BBCode
i just read some interesting things about him too. one thing wuz that his mom believed in education and when he got in trouble as a punnishment she made him read the entire new york times. he used to write poetry and love songs when he wuz young and didnt really get into rap until he wuz 15.his mom actually published some of his poetry in a book called "the rose that grew from concrete." there were also some interesting quotes on the site. one that i remember wuz "people try and criticize me for the music i make but they really know nothing about me." he wuz also very into acting. he enrolled in a performing arts school when he wuz about 15 in baltimore. he said he loved it bcuz his mother had moved him and his siblings around alot and he wuz lonely cuz he didnt feel like he could fit in bcuz he had lived in so many different backgrounds and bcuz he didnt have a father. he said he finally found friends there, most of them were white and that wuz the first time that he had come in contact with white people and said that he had believed alot of bad things people said about them before but that completely changed since he went to that school. he is also named after an inca king. this proves happy wrong even more. he used to say that tupac wuz just another thug rapper and that he faked his death and i would tell him that he needed to actually learn something about him before he made those accusatons cuz pac is real and he would do anything as dispicable as that.January 10, 2004 at 12:04AM View BBCode
Tupac was no thug, if he had lived he probably would have been a teacher of young minds and would have made even more of a difference in many young peoples lives.January 10, 2004 at 12:06AM View BBCode
yea that is his full name. he even said in an interview that he "wanted to spark the brain that changed the world."January 10, 2004 at 12:30AM View BBCode
Tupac Shakur was born Lesane Parish Crooks in Brooklyn, NY in 1971. While still a small child, his mother changed his name to Tupac Amaru after an Inca Indian revolutionary, "Tupac Amaru", meaning "Shining Serpent". "Shakur" means "Thankful To God" in Arabic.January 11, 2004 at 02:28PM View BBCode

one of the greatest muscians ever. no matter wut genre u r talking about. imo the greatest ever but i dont think most people would agree with that, but im sure most would put him up near the top. very very said that his life ended so soon. i think that when he wuz alive people failed to realize how great as a person he really was. and still there are a lot of misconceptions about him. i have no doubt that he would have been the most influencial celebrity of my generation if he wuz still alive and would have been one of the great teachers of my generation. when i think of tupac i think of hard work. look where he came from and look where he ended up. and no i dont mean dead, i mean successful. and also it proves that even if u come from the inner city ghettos u can still make a difference, be smart, be successful at whatever u want to do.January 13, 2004 at 03:44AM View BBCode
